Dora Beth Jordan, 78, of Wichita, KS, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital.  She was born March 23, 1945, in Madison County, AR.  She was the daughter of Floyd and Dilla (Hollingsworth) Shackelford.

She married Nathan Wesley Jordan on August 25, 1960, in Fayetteville, AR.  They shared a wonderful life together and had two sons. Dora worked at Beechcraft  and retired in 2005.

Dora loved going to garage sales, the casino and hosting family and friends in the home.  She also enjoyed working on her puzzle books and never missed an episode of Dr. Phil.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Shackelford, Wade Shackelford, Olin Shackelford, Albert Shackelford, Carl Shackelford.  Sisters; Mary Shackelford, Wilma Sanders, Velma Shepherd, Flora Shepherd and Martha Shackelford.

Survivors include her husband, Nathan Jordan of the home, sons Wesley Jordan and Jason Jordan of Wichita, KS, sister Floy Robbins of Madison Co., AR, one grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 12:00‐4:00 at Shackelford Lumberyard, 229 Ross St. Clearwater, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests an unwrapped toy that will be donated at this year's annual Toy Run.
