On December 26, 2023 OUR GOOD LORD reached out, and took Donna to her Eternal Resting Place.  Donna passed peacefully after a long stay in the hospital, due to complications from a stroke.  While growing up in Wichita, KS, Donna was a graduate of St. Anne's Elementary School, Bishop Carroll High School, and Wichita State University where she received her teaching degree.  Donna went on to retire from her teaching career, in the Wichita and Derby school districts.

During her free time she loved gardening, her birds, antiquing, and especially fishing with her late husband Lyle Lynn Borg of Andover, KS.  Donna was born August 25, 1953 and was preceded in death by her husband Lyle L. Borg, of Andover; her parents Ted G. Scheer and Eleanor C. (Rau) Scheer; sister Karmen A. (Scheer) Schawe; brother Eugene L. Scheer of Wichita and brother Lee Roy J. Scheer of Pullock Pines, CA.  Donna's surviving siblings are Evelyn (Scheer) Lemmerbrock of San Clemente, CA, Eleanor (Ellie Scheer) Dye of Monument, CO., and brother Gary Scheer of Tucson, AZ.
