Donald Charles Martinson
March 8, 1922 to September 17, 2025.

Donald Martinson taught math and science at Wichita High School North for 33 years.  After retiring, he was active with Meals on Wheels and Wichita Habitat for Humanity.  His main passion was woodworking.  He passed away peacefully at 103.5 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Martinson (Canfield) and his daughter Susan Duerksen.  He is survived by his daughter, Donna Hughes; his son James Martinson (Jeff); his son Dale Martinson (Tammy) (all of Wichita); his grandchildren, Brian, Gwendolyn, Devin, Bailey, and Greg; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church (2258 N Marigold Ln, Wichita) on Saturday, September 27, at 10:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Wichita Habitat for Humanity would honor his memory.
