Donald D Davidson 85, of Halstead Kansas, passed away January 9, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1939 in Hartville Missouri, the son of Fred and Anna (Fain) Davidson.

He graduated from West High School in Wichita Kansas in 1957.

He Married Betty Maurine Hall on September 7th, 1958.She proceeded him in death September 11, 2011. He was also proceeded in death by his parents, his two siblings, a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Survivors include son, Donald (Donie) Davidson Jr; daughters DawnEna Davidson and Kimberly Thompson Davidson.  Grandson Joseph McGinn his wife Alyssa, and their sons, Hays and Archer; Granddaughter Tori Thompson Loffland, her husband Ryan, and their two daughters, Charlie and Elzie.

One of his most memorable jobs, just out of high school, was working at the new Vickers Station in Haysville Kansas.

He owned and operated Halstead Auto Supply in Halstead Kansas for thirty years. He sincerely treated his customers and their children like family.

He enjoyed traveling in his RV visiting National Parks and spending winters in Ajo Arizona. He made many acquaintances and friendships on his travels.

His family will be hosting a Celebration of Life, family and friends visitation on February 22nd 10:30 AM at Crossroads Community Church 225 Main Street Halstead.

The burial will be at Black Oak Cemetery in Marshfield Missouri on March 29 11:00 AM.
