Diana Lynn (Sell) Fleske, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita, KS, on January 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Diana was born in Higgins, TX, to Ary "Bud" and Margaret (Sutherland) Sell. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her unwavering faith in the Lord and her deep love for her family were the cornerstones of her life. Diana had a kind heart and a natural desire to help others. One of her greatest joys was riding her bike, which she did whenever she could. Whether running errands or simply enjoying the fresh air, Diana found peace and freedom in each pedal.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Sell; her brother, Greg (Susan) Sell; her children, Rodney (Suzanne) Erwin, Alisha (Rick) Guerra, Jennifer (Anthony) Leiker, and Jedidiah (Danielle) Fleske. Diana's granddaughters, who brought her much joy, include Emily Erwin, Ella Fleske, Jacey Erwin, Ava Fleske, Zaylee Carr, Lainey Fleske, and Aria Guerra. She is also survived by her nieces, Allyson (Kelby) Scott and Jessica Sell.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Ary "Bud" Sell; her daughter, Janell Carr; and her beloved dog, Kricket.
Throughout her life, Diana was known for her kind heart, strong faith, and generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished by all who knew her. Diana loved her Lord and Savior and is now at peace in His presence, for which her family is deeply grateful.
In accordance with Diana's wishes, she was cremated, and no funeral service will be held.
