Devota ( Dee ) Irene ( BYFIELD ) Nunn, 83 of Park City, KS. passed away Tuesday June 24th, 2025 at the Westview of Derby Nursing Home.

She was born October 28th 1941, in the Old Rock House in Rural Webster, Kansas, the daughter of Freeman and Violet ( Walker ) Byfield.

Devota graduated from Stockton High School in 1959

She retired from Southwestern Bell and AT&T after more than 20 years.  Devota was also a Member of the Master Gardeners

Survivors include Son Frank Brown of Stockton, KS; Daughter Angela ( Angie) Veatch (Randy) of Hutchinson, KS; Son Eric L Brown of Park City KS; Brother Gary Byfield of Tulsa, OK; Sister Deberta Hutchison of Stockton, KS and six grandchildren.

Devota was proceeded in death by her parents,  son Tracy Brown, 3 brothers, 1 sister, Ex-husbands Franklin Thayer and Robert L. Brown, and husband James Nunn.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at 12:30 pm at the Stockton Cemetery in Stockton, KS.
