Obituary

Deborah Nan Anderson (Johnson), passed away at home in Wichita, Kansas on March 15, 2026. She was born November 9, 1951 in Tacoma, Washington to Robert I. and Margaret L. (Keller) Johnson.


Deb graduated from Mankato High School in 1969 and earned her B.A. from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She lived in Montana, Colorado, and Kansas,  worked as a real estate professional and was well known for her creativity, including floral design and decorating.


She was previously married to James Anderson and later Mick Platt.


Deb is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Wyatt (Robert) of Arizona and Lisa Thomas of Colorado; her grandchildren, Chelsea Kelly (Monahan), Ashley Gallegos, Tyler Thomas, Cheyenne Wyatt, Alythya Wyatt, and Trumyn Wyatt; and her brother, Scott D. Johnson (Mary) of Minnesota.


She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Mark R. Johnson and Daniel B. Johnson.


A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and her ashes will be spread in a place she loved.
