Debbie Schaible, 85, of Wichita, Kansas, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family, after a short battle with cancer. Debbie was born March 21, 1939, in New York, NY, the daughter of Henry and Rita Biddlecomb.  She is survived by her loving husband George of 64 years.

Debbie worked for many years as a sales representative for several pharmaceutical companies and also worked as a long-time interviewer for the United States Census. Debbie and George raised their family in Massapequa, New York. They retired to  Bushkill, Pennsylvania, followed by Conway, South Carolina, and recently moved to Wichita, Kansas.

Debbie was a devoted volunteer at numerous charitable organizations at each location she resided. She was also a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians and an active participant with her church. Debbie and George were avid travelers, having taken 75 cruises together.

Debbie is survived by her husband, George Schaible, son George D. Schaible (Janet) Smithtown, NY, daughter Colleen Schwartz (Frank) of Wichita, Kansas, son Gary Schaible (Sherri) Lewisville, TX, son Brian Schaible (Karlie) Jacksonville, FL, and preceded in death by her daughter Maureen Perih of Moscow, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Meghan Perih, Jillian Perih, Kevin Schaible, Frank Schwartz, Jack Schwartz (Monica), Julia Schwartz, Owen Schwartz, and Kayla Schaible. She will be missed by sisters Claire Bannerman (John Czapleski) Panama City Beach, Florida, Anita Sells-Reiter, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, brother Ed Biddlecomb, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was recently preceded in death by her sister Barbara Taylor (James) of Duxbury, MA.

A funeral Mass will be held January 18th at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Wichita, Kansas.
