This memorial was created in memory of our loved one, David Dee Eck, 77, of Wichita, Ks, who passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born November 5, 1946, in Harper, Ks, the son of Ormand and Wilma (Yoder) Eck.

David attended Harper Highschool and Kansas State University. He was then hired by Braniff Airlines and later Northwest Airlines for the duration of his career.

He married Pamela Walker and they had three daughters. He later married Candace Vaughn and was happily married 26 years until her passing.

David's daughters are Andrea Dickey, Melissa Adams, and the late Kerry Eck. He is also survived by Candace's son, Eldon Stilwill (Thelma), Liz Stilwill (Virginia), and five grandchildren, Brooke Dickey, Nicole Martinez, Amber Dickey, Kameron Sowers, and EJ Stillwill.  Papa Dave had two great grandchildren, Theo and Graham. He was brother to Diane Donnelly and the late Darrell Eck.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday January 8th, at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church in Harper, Ks.
