Darrell Gene Richmond, 76, of Wichita, KS passed away on January 1st, 2025. He was born on March 28,1948 in Leslie, West Virginia. The son of Wilbert and Ida Richmond.

He joined the United States Army on September 27th, 1966. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged August 10th, 1973.

Darrell loved fishing, hunting and working on cars. He worked as a truck driver for Apex, Kenco and Fields Trucking.

He is survived by daughter, Sueann (Jerry) Rice; sons, Darrell Richmond Jr, Jeremy Richmond and Joey (Kelli) Richmond; Grandchildren, Halie Richmond, Jeremy Richmond Jr, Joseph G Richmond, Brooke Wilkinson, Brie Lee and several great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
