Daniel Lester Perry, 84, passed away at his home in Wichita, KS on July 3rd, 2024.

Dan was born in Kingsport, TN on October 21, 1939 to Lester C. and Alva Anderson Perry. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 55 years, Ailene Moore Perry, sister Alva "Rose" Crumley and brother Steven D. Perry. He is survived by daughter Allison Perry Shelton, son Andrew (Lacey) Perry of Derby, KS, and three grandsons; Collin, Benjamin and Reid Perry.

Dan graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN. Attended East TN State University and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed a long career in trucking transportation management which included becoming a regional vice president for Mason and Dixon Truck Lines.

A private service will be held at Old Mission Mausoleum in Wichita. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, Wichita, KS 67206.
