Daniel Simon Mountford, 37, of Wichita, Ks passed away Friday September 27, 2024 at his home. He was born June 29, 1987 in Wichita, Ks. The son of Leo Romero and Tonya Mountford (Hightower).

Daniel was a lifelong scholar. He had an Associate degree from Wichita State University, Masters in HVAC from Wichita State Tech, and a certification in electrical systems from WTI.

Although Daniel lived alone, he always had his friends and family. He would visit and help his nieces Lucy and Sophie out with their homework and take them out to see a movie. He also enjoyed being with them during the holidays to help them celebrate.

Daniel enjoyed the company of his friends by going to the shooting range and competing all over the county. He also enjoyed kayaking, running marathons, and scuba diving.

Survivors include Mother, Tonya Mountford (Hightower) of Wichita, Ks; Brothers Michael Brewer and James Romero of Wichita, Ks.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 10:00 at Bakers Funeral Home in Wichita, Kansas. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery.
