Corey James Hoskinson, age 26, of Wichita, Kansas, born November 11, 1999, passed away on May 2, 2026. Born and raised in Wichita KS. Corey was a beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend whose presence brought light and laughter to those around him.

Corey is survived by his father, Rick Hoskinson, and his mother, Amy Hitz; his sister, Shelby Shinkle (Hoskinson); along with many extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Corey worked as a clerk at QuikTrip, where his friendly personality and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on both coworkers and customers. He had a natural ability to brighten any room he walked into and was known for making the best out of every situation. His sense of humor, resilience, and warm spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Corey was truly at home in the outdoors. He had a passion for "lake life," finding his greatest peace and joy on the water or under the open sky.

In honoring Corey's wishes, no formal service will be held. A private gathering will take place at a later date.

Corey's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his light will never be forgotten.
