Cherri Elaine White, age 65, went home to be with the lord on August 10th, 2025.

Cherri was born September 28, 1959 in Hays, KS to Joseph and Joyce White.  She attended and graduated from Southeast High School and Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Mo.  She was an avid writer of poetry and short stories.  She will be remembered for her generosity, loyalty and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her father SFC Joseph White.  Survivors include the following:  her mother Joyce Elizabeth, brother Major Finis, sister Alma Fay, nephew Alexi Christian, cousin Louise Bell and numerous great nieces and nephews.  There will be a visitation Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5-7pm at Baker Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at noon at White Chapel Cemetery.
