Charles Dee Blake, 45, of Wichita, KS passed away Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center with family at his side. He was born November 16, 1978, in Wichita, KS, the son of Robert Blake and Georgette Dozier (Powers).

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Robert Blake and Georgette and Lyle Dozier; brother, Richard Dozier; and grandmother, Freda Powers.

Survivors include daughters, Vanessa (Jeremy) Woll, and Josephine Portillo; sisters, Kristi (Brad) Melton and Bobby Sue Blake; brothers, David, Mike (Madison), and Robert Blake; grandfather, Roy Powers; 5 grandchildren and countless family members and friends.

As 2 Corinthians 4:6-18 states: "Let light shine out of darkness" Charles, who chose to be an organ donor, will be helping multiple lives in the wake of his passing. He will be greatly missed and is now resting easy with family that preceded him.

Charles was cremated under the direction of Baker Funeral Home and the family will hold services at a later date.
