Cesar Giancarlo Varea, 33 of Wichita, Kansas passed away at Wesley Hospital on February 18, 2026 surrounded by his family.  He was born on March 28, 1992 in Lima Peru, the son of Sara R. Bannon.

Giancarlo graduated from Ft. Hays State University and earned a master's degree from Wichita Tech and Wichita State University.  He worked as a store manager at McDonald's Restaurant in Wichita, KS.

Survivors include mother, Sara Bannon; father, Cesar A. Varea; stepfather, Bud Bannon; aunt, Lama Grace Gabriel; brother Jean Pierre Vagra.

Funeral services will be held at Baker Funeral Home on Friday, February 27th at 2:00 pm.
