The family is sad to announce the passing of our loving sister Cathy Shelinbarger whom unexpectedly left us on 1-14-24. Cathy Shelinbarger was born on May 6th 1951 to Caleb & Erma Shelinbarger of Wichita KS. Cathy lived with her family until their passing and then lived with her sister Janice Shelinbarger.

Cathy was a loving sister and loved to watch The young and the restless, The bold and the beautiful, Lets make a deal and her favorite was the price is right. Cathy also loved any shopping trip and it didn't matter if it was garage sales, goodwill, DAV, or her favorite "The Ben". Cathy loved listening to records and could often be found dancing to the music in her bed room. Cathy regularly  called her sisters and brothers to keep in touch and fill them in on the latest happenings in the family. She also had a poodle named "Rusty" or "Rusty ruff" that proceeded her in death; he meant the world to her. She spoiled him and took very good care of him through out his life.

Cathy leaves behind 3 Sisters, Carolyn Howell, Janice Shelinbarger, & Trudy Hagen. She also leaves behind 4 brothers, Bill, Harold, Victor and Randy Shelinbarger. She was proceeded in death by her parents Caleb and Erma Shelinbarger, 2 brothers, Gerald and Larry Shelinbarger.

Services are to be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. - Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, Kansas.  Interment will be at Kechi Cemetery.
