Caroline Sue Mitchell, 79, of El Dorado, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 31,2023 in Wichita surrounded by her daughters. She was born August 18, 1944 in El Dorado, KS the daughter of Victor and Inez Varner. Caroline attended El Dorado High School and graduated with the class of 1963.
She worked numerous years doing housekeeping and retired from Pioneer Balloon Company after 20 plus years. She enjoyed her time with her family and her special group of friends from the YMCA. She married Donald Mitchell on August 30, 1963.
Survivors include her husband Donald of El Dorado KS, Sister Vickey Miller of El Dorado KS, Son Harley Mitchell of El Dorado KS, Daughters , Ina Mitchell of Wichita KS, Peggy Baker (Steve Ukena) of Mulvane KS, and Patty Loyd (LeRoy) of Ceresco NE.  8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Greart Great - Grandchild. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
