Carleen Ruth Casad, 64, of Park City, KS, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born November 18, 1960 in Van Buren, AR, the daughter of Carl and Francis (Levings) Wilson.

Carleen graduated from Maize High School in 1978.

She married her best friend, Larry Casad, December 1, 1978 and they began their life together raising a family and making many memories.

In her earlier years, Carleen supported her family as a bus driver for Maize School District.  She went on to work for the Postal Service for 20 plus years where she retired in 2023.

Carleen was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Francis and her sister, Rita.

Survivors include her Husband of 46 years, Larry Casad; daughter Montesa (Troy, grandchildren Henry, Cole and Holden) Derringer of Chouteau, OK; son Daniel (Kara, grandchildren Anabelle and Landon) Casad of Valley Center, KS; brothers Steve (Jill) Wilson of Kingsport, TN; Kenny (Ladonna) Wilson of Wichita, KS; sisters Ruby (Monty) Metcalf of Wichita, KS; Juanita Wilson of Wichita, KS; 2 great-grandchildren; 19 nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews as well as many in-laws.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Le Venue in Valley Center, KS on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11am.

Memorials may be given to Victory in the Valley on behalf of Carleen's name.  Victory in the Valley graciously helped Larry and Carleen during her battle with cancer and on behalf of the family we would like to make a difference in others lives who are battling cancer.
