Brian Keith McWhirt, 55, of Haysville, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2025. Born on June 7, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, Brian spent many years as a long-haul truck driver, a career that allowed him to travel the country and experience life on the open road. He also
worked in the food industry, bringing satisfaction to many through his culinary skills, not to mention the man could cook for an army!

Brian had a deep love for animals and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Summer. Known for his big heart, he found joy in the companionship of others and the connections he made throughout his life. He was fun loving and lived life to the fullest. He will be missed!

Brian is survived by his partner, Paula Kyle; sister, Melissa Edwards; brother, Rodney McWhirt; and nephew, Joe McWhirt. He is also survived by many relatives he kept in contact with. He was predeceased by his parents, Aprila and Edwin McWhirt, as well as his brother Joseph

Brian's wish preceding his death was to gather with relatives for a family reunion. A Celebration of Life to honor Brian's memory will be held on June 7th at 10 am at Randal L Dorner Park - 400 W. 79th Street South - Haysville, KS 67060.  Lunch will be served from 11 - 11:30 with water and pop supplied.  Dogs are welcome.  Please RSVP to Melissa at 316-821-8887 or via Facebook.
