Bobbie Murphy born July 16th, 1959 away on December 31st, 2025. I'm am writing this in memory of my mother - the person I most admired in this world. She was a graduate of Washburn University.

She is survived by a son Damon Mosca, a daughter Cherish Lang, and her life partner of 37 years Mike Smith - our stepfather whom we really just call dad.

My mother was my teacher, nurse and sometimes therapist. She taught me the way to love through the love she shared with my dad her life partner.  If we were hurt she would always try to make it better and she would always be there just to listen. Others that met her would instantly just want to be her friend.  She was kind and taught me how important it is to be a gentleman and my sister to be a lady.  We wouldn't be who we are without her. The world will be a little darker without her light, but knowing she is up there and in our hearts will guide us through.  We will have a memorial dinner in her honor on Saturday January 31.
