Bill Nelson, born July 8, 1943, passed away on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen (Porter) Nelson, wife Ivonne Sue (Gilbert) Nelson, and loving friend and partner, Sharon Kay (Newton) Gilbert.

He is survived by his daughter Patsy (Benny) Guerrero, son Jody (Shelly) Nelson, 8 grandchildren, siblings Roger Nelson, Doug (Jacque) Nelson, Jim (Dene) Nelson, Rick (Janice) Nelson, and Cindy (Bob) Vanwey.

Bill enjoyed many activities and hobbies including biking, camping, hunting, fishing, pie, and always being there for his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at West Haysville Baptist Church located at 141 N Lamar Ave, Haysville, KS 67060.
