Billy Joe Ambler 62, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday March 12, 2024, in his home surrounded by family. He was born Feb 05,1962 in Kingman, KS, the son of Merle Sr and Cleola Ambler.

Billy graduated from Eureka High School in 1980. He then joined the Navy and served 2yrs 6 months until he was honorably discharged. He worked several different jobs as a cook, as health assistant and maintenance for a retail store.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Merle L Ambler Sr. and nephew Merle (Tray) L Ambler III  as well as Grandparents, few Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include Mother, Cleola J Ankerholz of Augusta, KS; brother Merle L Ambler Jr. of Wichita, KS; brother Frankie D Ambler of Augusta, KS; sister Misty D Howell of Wichita, KS; as well as several nieces and nephews.
