Billie J Darnell, 80, of Wichita, Ks. passed away Sunday, November 16th surrounded by her family. She was born May 4th, 1945, in Quapaw, Ok, the daughter of Everett and Faye (Griggs) Beason.

Billie was retired and enjoyed doing crafts and visiting with her family and friends. She loved being "Grammy" to all her grandbabies.

She married the love of her life, George Washington Darnell Jr on June 4th, 1960. He proceeded her in death on July 16th, 2014, after 54 years of marriage.

Survivors include daughter's Jayne Ward (Blue), Diana Cavender (Dale), Shelia Dowell (Richard), and son George Darnell III , all of Wichita, Ks; 25 Grandchildren, 41 Great-grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita, Ks.
