Obituary

Bill Lawrence Marker, 72, of Haysville, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. Born on May 2, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, Bill spent his life rooted in the community he loved.

A hardworking and dependable man, Bill worked as a delivery driver for many years. He took pride in his work and was known for his friendly smile and willingness to lend a hand. He touched the lives of many with his quiet strength, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Guandalyn Marker; his parents, William and Erma Marker; and his brother, Chuck Marker.

He is survived by his daughter, Alesia Weir; his grandsons, Jayden and Jaxson, who were the light of his life; his sister, Grace; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Bill will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience and generosity that will continue to live on in all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kansas Humane Society, an organization close to Bill's heart.

A graveside service at will be held at 10:00 am August 8th in the Garden of Love at Resthaven Cemetery.
