Betty Louise Sullivan, 96, of El Dorado, Ks. went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her home. She was born December 11, 1926 in El Dorado to Charles and Alice McMillan.

She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1945. She was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for more than 27 years, once retired she devoted her life to traveling with her husband, days spent at their cabin on the lake and watching her grandchildren who she loved dearly.

She married the love of her life, Leo J. Sullivan in 1977, they shared 17 wonderful years together before his passing on December 19, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, her son Charles Stevens and her daughter Tina Sutherland.

Survivors include son, Michael Stevens, daughters Carol Stevens and Robin Stevens. Grandchildren Jennifer (Scott) Williams, Tony Thornton, Matthew Wall, Robert Stevens, Christopher (Michelle) Gutierrez, Austin Van Fleet, Torri (Micah) Carlisle, Adam (Bailey) Van Fleet and 14 Great Grandchildren.

She was a kind, generous loving wife, mother and Bunnie, she was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had many talents, including painting, sketching, sewing, cooking wonderful meals and baking her chocolate sheet cake for birthdays and her coffee cake ring at Christmas time. She was a woman of tremendous Faith and Trust in God. She was Simply the Best and we will miss her so much.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
