Betty Lou Martine, 80, of Bel Aire, KS, passed from this life on April 7, 2024. She was born in Lahoma, OK on October 13, 1943, the daughter to Frank and Elizabeth (Kabetzke) Teske.

Betty moved to Argonia, KS in her young adult life where she graduated from Argonia High School in 1961. She later moved to Bel Aire, KS and became the Deputy City Clerk of the City of Bel Aire for nearly thirty years where she supported numerous departments, boards, planning and zoning commissions, and city council until her retirement. When not working, she enjoyed volunteering for the church and crocheting many different types of afghans.

After her retirement, Betty continued to periodically support the City of Bel Aire when asked and enjoyed traveling to Oklahoma to visit her family, spending time outdoors gardening, watching birds, and pressing her luck at the casinos.

Betty will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and her "tell it like it is" style.

She is survived by her former husband, Robert Martine of Wichita, Ks.; two children, Brian Martine and wife Kendra, of Wichita, KS; daughter, Rhonda Martine of Lansdale, PA; niece, Linda Fluman of Lahoma, OK; nephew, Rodney Fluman of Enid, OK; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman Frank and Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Teske, sister Dorothy Fluman and brother, Robert Seeley.

In celebration of Betty's life, a rosary will be held the evening of Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 7 pm at Church of the Resurrection, 4910 N Woodlawn St, Bel Aire, KS 67220. A reception will follow the rosary at 7:30pm.

A funeral mass will be held the following day on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10 am at Church of the Resurrection, 4910 N Woodlawn St, Bel Aire, KS 67220. A luncheon will follow the funeral services at 12pm.
