April Michelle Davis, 48, of Hutchinson, KS got her wings Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at St Francis Rehabilitation Unit in Wichita, KS surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 15th 1976 in Lyons, KS, the daughter of Moises and Patsy Ramirez.

April attended school in Lyons all her life and was a cheerleader in high school. She later attend online classes and received a degree in accounting.

As a teenager April worked at the Tasty Freeze in Lyons. She later moved to Hutchinson KS were she worked at a C-Mart in South Hutchinson, KS. Some years later she met and married her husband Laroy Davis Sr of Hutchinson, KS.

April loved to fish, hangout with friends and spending time with her family and her beloved dog Marley.

April was reunited in heaven with her grandmother Elsie Critchfield, Aunt Verna Bagby, Uncle Leonard Thurman, cousins Angela Bagby and Jeffery Thurman and two nieces Courtney Cornelius and Shalee Ramirez.

April is proceeded in death by her husband Laroy Davis Sr and best friend Teri Lohmmeyer of Hutchinson. April is survived by her parents Moises and Patsy Ramirez of Lyons, Steph and David Cornelius of Sterling, KS, Shaletta and George Saling of Genseo, KS, Aaron Bagby of Hutchinson, KS, Moises and Desiree Ramirez of Lyons, Kelli Bagby of Sterling, KS and Ashlei and Chris Strops of Lyons, KS.

Funeral will be held Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00p.m. at the Alden Gymnasium in Alden, KS. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made To Friends Of Animals of Rice County, KS.
