Anita Marie
Regier
Dec 6, 1965 — Jan 28, 2024
Derby
Anita Marie (Lopez) Regier, 58, passed away on Sunday, January 28th, 2024. She was born on December 6th, 1965, the daughter of Paul and Mary Clara Lopez.
Anita graduated from Bishop Carroll High School, and attended Wichita State University.
She found her calling soon after school as a Realtor, spending close to 30 years helping many people that were selling or buying their homes.
Being very focused and committed to the clients she worked with, she always seemed to put it all together, even when things were sometimes challenging. A great number of these clients became personal friends of hers.
Her special style, and her smile, would always light up the places she went, and the people she met. Beautiful on the outside, even more on the inside, Anita was always doing small things for people that brought them joy and happiness. Loving, caring for others, sacrificing her time to help other people who needed someone to depend on. That is how she lived her life. Always making others feel special, laughing a lot, even at herself sometimes, she had the ability to make people smile when she was around.
Survivors include her husband Robert, sons Ira Lopez, Garrett Leischner, daughter Amy Regier, mother Mary Clara Lopez, siblings Marie Carroll, Teresa Burlingame, Paul Lopez, Cindy Albert, James Lopez. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00am, March 22nd at South Rock Christian Church, 900 S Rock Road, Derby Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, and the Kansas Humane Society in her name.
