Alice Faye Mitchell

Alice Faye Mitchell, 86 passed away on July 26, 2026, at her home in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Albert and Myrtle Brace.

Alice's family moved to Wichita from Henryetta, Oklahoma.  She attended school in Wichita and graduated from North High School in 1959.  She attended a Baptist Bible college in Iowa for part of a year before returning to Wichita.  Alice worked as a medical aide at St. Francis Hospital.

She married Max Mitchell on April 15, 1978.  They were together until her passing and celebrated 48 years of marriage together.  Alice and Max has one child, a son, Dennis, who passed away at birth.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Betty Brace.  She is survived by her husband, Max and four cousins.
