Aften Marie Pelletier

Aften Marie Pelletier, born March 3, 1982, passed away June 7, 2026. Aften’s life was defined by her deep love for her children, her loyalty to those she cared for, and her quiet determination to keep growing and moving forward. She found joy in singing, playing the guitar and creating through any kind of craft. She was a mother, a friend, and a steady presence in the lives of those who knew her.

In March 2025, Aften proudly graduated from Wichita State University’s Spero School of Business, an accomplishment she cherished. She was also an active member of the Women’s Network Program, where she found connection, support, and a sense of belonging.

Aften is survived by her children Bryon Cadwell, Sevryn Cadwell, Catori Cadwell, Aviendha Cadwell and Presley Fitzwater, each of whom brought immense joy and purpose to her life. She is also survived by her brother Anthony (AJ) Pelletier & is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Pelletier.

Aften will be remembered for her creativity, her resilience, and the tremendous strides she made throughout her life. Those who loved her will forever hold onto the pride they felt watching her continue to grow. Her faith, her love for her family, and the memories she leaves behind will remain a blessing to all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at: Mosaic Life Church, 3245 S. Exposition Wichita, KS 67217, Saturday June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Family & friends are invited to gather in remembrance, prayer and gratitude for Aften’s life and the peace she has found in God’s presence.
