Aaron Wayne Busby, aged 42, passed away on August 8, 2024, in El Dorado, Kansas. Born on July 3, 1982, in Wichita, Kansas, Aaron spent his childhood riding bikes and racing on BMX tracks. He carried his love for adventure into adulthood, enjoying motorcycle rides and letting the wind blow through that beard of his. He was a movie buff and was always quoting lines from movies. The Goonies was his favorite.

Aaron's professional life included time spent working in refineries, but he was most passionate about his work as a welder. His interests extended to collecting memorabilia related to the oil field and El Dorado's history, often exploring auctions and estate sales and was an Oklahoma State fan. Known for his humor, Aaron was the life of family gatherings, always ready to make everyone laugh.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity, always willing to help others and known for his unwavering support for his family and friends. Aaron is survived by his son, Tristan Busby; daughter, Madison Busby; fiancé, Hillary Raple; parents, Terri (Doug) Pierce and Delbert Busby; siblings, Kayci (Preston) Bailey, Kelci (Andy) Naill, Debbie (Donnie) Michels, and Clay (Kelli) Busby. He is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Billie Orr (Mimi and Pa), Maurice Hall (Meemo), and great-grandparents, Ed and Pauline Bigelow (Nana and PapPaw).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17th at 1:00 PM at the El Dorado Civic Center. The Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, Kansas, is assisting the family during this time.

Aaron's memory and love for his children, family, and many friends will continue to inspire all who knew him.
